One of the Ideas behind this is so that if you change it in the global panel, it then changes in places where it was used

So you mean like a feature typical to the theme customizer?

Correct me if I’m wrong but you can already achieve something similar by using an ACF options page.

if you use the ACF or PDOS field connections yes can work or you can use the “update all” option from https://www.beaver.team/product/beaver-team-pro/ but both are workarounds…

Voted. This is really useful in agency-land IMHO.
We currently use Beaver Team Pro for bulk color swaps and updates.
Also Central Colour Palette plugin to set the global color palette for BB/theme for each project.
Having this functionality built in would save time and be useful.
