Add index.html or index.php ot cache dir

Hi,

Is it possible for both the BB Plugin and BB Theme to automatically add a blank index.html or index.php file in the following directories:

1: your-domain-name.here/wp-content/uploads/bb-plugin/
2: your-domain-name.here/wp-content/uploads/bb-plugin/cache/
3: your-domain-name.here/wp-content/uploads/bb-plugin/icons/
4: your-domain-name.here/wp-content/uploads/bb-theme/
5: your-domain-name.here/wp-content/plugins/bb-plugin/classes/
6: your-domain-name.here/wp-content/plugins/bb-plugin/css/
7: your-domain-name.here/wp-content/plugins/bb-plugin/data/
8: and so on. (…/img/, …/includes/, …/js/, …)

This to prevent direct access to content of the directories on the server. At a minimal level one should alway add a rule to prevent directory browsing in a .htaccess file ( Options -Indexes ) and a proper host will prevent this by default, but then again…

At the moment I have added a blank index.php to all directories myself and have not experienced any weird behavior, but in case there is a reason why this is not done by default, I will read it in your answer.

Thanks in advance for your answer and help.

That’s a good idea and should be possible. I’ve filed a ticket to look into this for a future update. Thanks for the feedback!
