Can a call to action button execute a shortcode?

Hi,

I have a call to action with text and a button…

when the user clicks the button I would like a shortcode to be executed that popups a form?
I am not a programmer so any ideas would be helpful… :slight_smile:

Hi Mel,

What shortcode are you trying to execute? As I don’t believe you can do this with the Call the Action module.

Hi,

yes I understand that the button on the call to action is only for a url… I was hoping there was a way with code to add the capability to exec a shortcut. Or another way to use a button to exec a shortcode.

Hi Mel,

I don’t think this is possible. However, can you provide more information on what shortcode you wish to execute when you click on the button, please? Is it a plugin?
