Content Slider on Mobile orientation issue

goosewingcottage.com.au

I have just launched this website for a client of mine, and they have picked up on an issue when viewed on a phone, when the screen is rotated into Landscape orientation, the content slider on the homepage doesn’t extend to the full width of the window (unless you refresh the page). It pushes the image to the left side of the page (50% of the screen width).

My client has an iPhone (not sure which model) and I have also been able to replicate this problem on my iPhone 6+ in Safari.

I have tried:

  • The WP Retina 2x plugin, using the PictureFill and retina.js methods and PictureFill does no different while retina.js manages to squeeze two images in Landscape mode.
  • CSS to force 100% width for smaller screens, but the same issue remains.

Thanks in advance

Hi Andrew,

We actually have another user experiencing the same problem. Unfortunately, when both myself and colleagues try to recreate this issue both locally and on our beta site, we are unable to do so.

Therefore, is it possible for you to tell us or screenshot what settings you’re using, please?

Thanks,
Danny
