Event List Widget with BB Plugin and BB Theme

Hi there! I’m SO IN LOVE WITH BB!! Have been moving sites to it left and right, and loving how thoughtful, clean, and effective it all is. So first, many thanks!

Second - I’m running into an issue where for some reason all the styling is disappearing on the public front end of our site for the Events List widget. See homepage here for example: http://nwis.breakthrough02.wpengine.com

When I’m editing the page with Page Builder, it shows the cool pre-built formatting the TEC has by default. However, whenever we save and look at the site live, the styling all drops away. Have never seen that before with other themes, and am not sure what might be causing it.

Any ideas? Thanks all!

best,

B

Hey Brian,

Glad you’re loving the product! Do you mind showing a screenshot of how it looks when inside the Page Builder so we can compare? Also, what plugin are you using for the widget?

Ben

Thanks for the insanely fast response!! We’re using The Event Calendar’s official “Event List” widget. One goofy Q, it doesn’t look like I can attach an image to the forum – am I missing something?

Hey Brian,

Is this the plugin?

You can just upload the image to imgur and paste the link here.

Yep that’s it! Also, weirdly, it just started working on the front end of our site! Maybe it was a caching issue or something, and the css hadn’t caught up with the rest of the output? Not sure… I’ll still submit the image just for reference, and in case it reverts back!

Hey Brian,

Glad it’s working! Caching could well be the case. Do you have one installed? Definitely let us know if it happens again!

Ben

Okay I take it back - no longer seems to be working. It seems as if both of the following widgets need to be activated for the styling to come through: Events Calendar, and Events List ----- however, I’ve never seen that to be the case before, so was wondering if it might somehow be related to BB. Sending screenshot in a moment.

Also, if you’d like to log in I can send along details, just let me know.

We don’t have any caching plugins in place, but are hosting this site with WP Engine which does have some built in caching.

Hey Brian,

If you could please share temp admin access so we can check, that would really be great. You can just post it here using the private reply option below.
