Error message when clicking the edit module icon: Failed to initialize plugin: wordpress
I checked general WP forums and couldn’t find this particular error, but found several that are specific as to the plugin that is not initializing. I get the general “wordpress” so I don’t know where to look. Any ideas?
Did you ever get a reply on this? I’m having the same issues and am not locating any information on it.
it’ll be a plugin that is trying to add a button to the tinymce editor.

I had the same problem (error message - Failed to initialize plugin: wordpress) only with another module Beaver Builder Text Editor. The problem was the conflict with the Popup Builder plugin (full name: Popup Builder – Responsive WordPress Pop up – Subscription & Newsletter). Deactivating the plugin helped.
