Gallery - Order that Lightbox Displays Photos

I must be missing something here.

I have quite a few galleries set up on my site and ran into this issue.

To replicate:

  1. Set up a gallery
    a. Collage
    b. Media Library
    c. Select photos and place in order
    d. Small
    e. 20
    f. Never
    g. Lightbox
  2. Click on first photo
    –What happens: photo 1 appears, photo 4 appears, photo 7 appears, photo 10 appears, etc.
    –What I expected to happen: photo 1 appears, photo 2 appears, photo 3 appears, etc.

I’m not sure how this could be, but it appears that the sort order of the Lightbox goes down the column, not across each photo in order.

Any ideas of why this is happening? Is there a setting to have the Lightbox display the photos in order left and right of the photo that is selected?

Hey Eric,

Thanks for getting in touch! That is actually the intended behavior of our Collage layout. It’s actually meant for images with varying aspect ratios, e.g., http://demos.wpbeaverbuilder.com/portfolio-page-1/. You’ll see what I mean when you visit that demo page. If you are only using the Collage layout with images of the same aspect ratio, I suggest using the Thumbs layout instead.
