Getting Duplicate Headers and Footers

My working site is: http://skyhoundz.com/skyhoundz3

If you look at the site it appears normal. However, if you login as a user, I lose the logo at the top left and get a duplicate header and footer.

TIA

Peter

Hi Peter,

It looks like your issue is related to Mixed Content via HTTPS. You appear to have the site when not logged in as HTTP and when logged in as HTTPS. You will probably want to set the whole site as HTTPS which should resolve your issue.

You may also want to check out this plugin - https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/

Thanks,
Danny

Hello Danny:

I’m not sure what I need to do at this point. I’ve set everything for https that I could find and every page that comes up shows it is in https…even the ones that don’t view properly.

In settings, General, it’s https for WordPress Address (URL) and https for the Site Address (URL).

In iThemes Security Pro, I have set the Front End SSL Mode to Whole Site and SSL for Dashboard.

Not sure what to do now. :frowning:

Thanks.

Peter

Hey Peter,

How are you adding the header and footer? I noticed you’re using a template for both. Did you add them via an action hook? Or did you hard code them to the theme files? Do you think you can give us an account which has access to the backend so we can check deeper?

Ben

I think everything is working now. I turned off SSL in iThemes Security Front End SSL Mode and I’m not getting the double headers and footers.

SORRY!!!

Hi Peter,

Happy to hear you have resolved your issue and thanks for informing us.

Thanks,
Danny
