I looked at the plugin page on WP.org and it appears the shortcode functionality is only available in the premium version. If you’re using the free version I would recommend contact the plugin developer and see what they suggest.
The widget likely doesn’t work correctly because it is using the admin_enqueue_scripts function so the widgets scripts are only available on the WordPress backend.
