Setting permissions via command line? Layout issues

Hi there, thanks for the great plugin. Really enjoying it

When developing locally I was having some niggles - the main one being columns displaying vertically instead of inline. I searched for solutions to this issue and it seems like I am having a permissions issue on my local wordpress install.

When I uploaded to my staging site the columns were fixed, so it looks like an issue with the local install permisions

In console I see

http://localhost/site/wp-content/uploads/bb-plugin/cache/4-layout.css Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

Hi Andy,

Are you using an app to create your locally hosted sites? If so, what app?

What are you permissions at the moment, can you check and then follow the instructions from the WordPress Codex, please.

I have fixed this issue.

I had actually set the correct permissions - my problem was related to this;
