After installing the BB plugin I found the whole theme dashboard get slower. Is that normal or something to fix?

That certainly isn’t normal! Do you have other plugins installed? Does disabling the BB plugin fix the issue? Or could you try disabling another plugin and see if it does anything to the performance of the dashboard?
Also, you might want to change your display name to something else other than your email.
