I will make a site using plug-bb however I need to develop it in another temporary field test, to present to the client and if approved need to migrate to the client domain.
My doubt is: What are the steps to change the site of a field eg www.dominioteste.com.br for www.dominiodocliente.com.br?
What do I do? The bb plugin supports this type of migration?
I never developed a site on a domain and when approved migrated to the client’s domain, I’m afraid …
Hey Rafael,
We’ve a Knowledge Base article regarding Migrating a Site To Another Domain. There’s also this plugin we just discovered which uses the exact same script as that but is easier to use since it can be accessed via the Dashboard, Better Search Replace. One last thing, the guys have been migrating sites with BB since and has never encountered any problems.
