Currently, I’m using GoDaddy’s backup service for a site after having a catastrophic issue trying to migrate a site using a plugin. Thank goodness it was only a landing page, so I just rebuilt the site from scratch on the new server. Then yesterday I was reading the BB newsletter and they discussed this topic. I want to revisit using a simple backup plugin with good documentation and support. I would love some opinions from the community of what folks think works best. There are probably a lot of opinions.
UpdraftPlus free version works fine for me.
Plug it to a cloud of your choice to store the backups.

I really like Duplicator. Its fast and really reliable. Easy to use too!
ManageWP is free, and I really like it. It backs up all your WP sites automatically once a month. If you pay a couple of dollars (per site) you can back them up more often, and they say you can move them - or copy them to a new site at another domain. I haven’t done that yet.
