WP Rocket configuration

Hello,

Is there a way to play nice with WP Rocket for the Minification & Concatenation of CSS and JS? It works fine on the rest of my site, but those pages I created with Beaver break if I activate any of those options.

Hey Pablo,

We’ve plenty of users using WP Rocket but haven’t had an issue. In fact, it’s the caching plugin that we recommend. Do you mind sharing the URL of the pages in question so we can take a look?

Ben

Hey Ben,

The site is http://en.thecrazytravel.com/

When I activate any of those options the homepage breaks.

Right now I am using WP Rocket with that disabled and Cloudflare as a CDN.

If needed, I can disable Cloudflare and give you access so you can check it yourself (I don’t want to leave the broken homepage since the site is live :P).

Hey Pablo,

Can you go ahead and share access to the site so we can check? We just need to enable WP Rocket to see the problem, right?

Hey Pablo,

I got WP Rocket 2.6.15 running on my local dev as well and everything is working fine. I did notice you have server caching enabled as well? That may be what’s causing the issue. Is it possible to turn it off and check?

Ben

I am running my site on a VPS over Nginx+HHVM, without Apache, not sure how much of the Nginx config should I modify if that’s the problem.

My main use for WP Rocket is the minification and concatenation and the lazy loading, since cache wise it doesn’t improve the loading on my trials.

Hey Pablo,

We just had another look at your site and it seems the problem is that some of the cached CSS files WP Rocket generates return a 400 error. Check the screenshots below for reference. You may want to get in touch with them for this.

Ok, cheers, I will get in touch with them.

No worries, Pablo! Let us know how it goes!
