We ran into a problem yesterday attempting to update the homepage on our site. No matter what we did, changes wouldn’t show up for logged-out users on the homepage only. I cleared the cache via BB tools as well as flushed the cache with wp-cli. Went so far as to disable all plugins & switch to the default theme. Still no joy.
We aren’t using a caching plugin or a CDN, so the only caching I know of is at the server level (I don’t have cPanel access so can’t tell what’s happening there).
Mysteriously, when I visited the homepage today in an incognito window I could see my changes from the previous day. But after making a couple of updates I had to flush the cache again & then the CSS & JS that BB generates dynamically stopped loading (404) for the homepage. Again, this is only for logged-out users. Plus any new changes to the homepage don’t appear, just like yesterday.
