The accordion direct link method works EXCEPT, if one keeps the first tab open and does not collapse inactive tabs, a direct link to the second or third tab from a different page on the website opens the tab but does not scroll to that tab.
In fact, I do not think a direct link, when coming from another page, is scrolling to the correct tab at all. I think it is just opening the tab, and only by selecting collapse inactive, to collapse the first tab, am I getting the linked tab to show up. This is, of course, because the first tab is long and the subsequent tabs are not.
