Hi
I have the beaver builder plugin installed, and have set up some accordions which were working fine. They have now stopped “opening”.
The only thing that I have changed since setting them up is installing Optin Monster, however I have read here that this should be fine?
Can you give me any tips on how to work out what’s going on?

Hey Kristy,
Thanks for getting in touch! The quickest way to figure out if the newly installed plugin is what’s conflicting with the accordion module is to disable it and see if it works afterwards. We would recommend doing this just to confirm, give it a try and let us know how it goes.

That was rather obvious to try sorry - I have done that but it made no difference.

Try going through the plugin troubleshooting steps - i.e. disable all plugins except BB and if it works, enable them one by one to see which one is conflicting with BB. Might want to try switching themes as well. Sorry, I should have suggested this from the very beginning.
If that doesn’t work, please provide us with a temporary access to your Admin panel through a private reply and we’ll take a closer look.

Thank you, I tried all of that and when I changed the theme the accordions started working again, which is good…but then obviously that means I need to change the theme over for Beaver Builder to work…is there a way around having to do that do you think?!

Also, I just checked your site, at least a few pages of it. Are you referring to the Accordions on the FAQs page? If so, those aren’t Accordions from our page builder, but from a third party plugin or perhaps it’s custom coded.

Hey Kristy,
So the problem here was with the GA code you’ve added. On the last part, it has a comment indicated by the opening tag <!– and should have been closed by the tag –>. Unfortunately, for your case, instead of using 2 dashes for the closing tag you only used one. So all scripts/HTML, including the JS script which handles the Accordion module along with many others, after that code has been turned into a comment. I have fixed the code for you though and it should be working fine now.
