Adding a link to something on the same page

Hi

This is my first post in this forum so apologies if there is an answer to my question already - I have looked but couldn’t see one. I am definitely not a techy so please be gentle with me!

I love using Beaver Builder but I just don’t know if I can do this or if so how.

I would like to add a link from a picture at the top of one page to take people further down that same page. Is this possible? If so, are there any notes or is there a video on how to do it?

Thanks so much

This is explained in BB KB: https://kb.wpbeaverbuilder.com/article/121-smooth-scrolling-links

Thanks so much for your quick response.

When I go to that it tells me to

Add a unique ID to the target element

  1. Open the target element’s settings in Page Builder.
  2. Click the Advanced tab and scroll down to the CSS Selectors section.
  3. For the ID setting, add a unique value such as my-unique-id . ID values must only contain alphanumeric characters, hyphens, or underscores.

But I cannot see the CSS Selectors on that page?

The " CSS Selectors section" is part of the “HTML Element” tab: 2 fields to insert custom ID and Class.
Just insert your custom ID in the ID field.
