Adding Text to Slider

I just purchased the Pro edition and I am having a hard time figuring out how to add text and buttons to a slider. Can you please do a very quick video instruction on how to accomplish this? If not, then give me a quick step-by-step instruction on how to.

Thnaks!

Hey Mo,

Welcome to the BB forums!

You’ve a few options to do that. You can set your row to have a slideshow background, then place contents on top of it. Simply head over to your row settings, then change the background to Slideshow. Using this method, you’ll have static content with a sliding background.

You can also use our Content Slider. This allows you to set a background image, content, and a CTA button for each slide. Just drag over the Content Slider module to the content area, then add slides.

Thank you Ben. I found it. I tried to recreate another slider that I had and I am still having difficulty.

Please see these 2 links. One is the one I had created with another builder and the other is the one I just tried to create with BB.

The is the one created by another Builder https://nbt.egnyte.com/dl/4EZo8RtYjt

The is the one created by BB https://nbt.egnyte.com/dl/ok1sMJ4a3t

How can I use BB to create sliders that have the same effect as this https://nbt.egnyte.com/dl/4EZo8RtYjt ?

If not exactly, then how close can I get to that. Or at least not have the Heading break lines?

Thank you!

Hey Mo,

There should be settings for the text under the Style tab. By default, the width is set to 50%. Try adjusting it as well as the others to suit your needs. There should be a background color there too. You should be able to get that exact layout using our Content Slider module.

Ben

I got it. Thanks. One last question. how can I make the Slider Full-Width of the page?

Hey Mo,

You should be able to set the row as well as the contents to be full width under the Row Settings. Also, make sure you remove all the default margin/padding found on the row/column/module.
