When I click Page Builder to edit the pages
- the layout breaks
- a new “Edit” link appears (to edit the post) in the body of the page
- if I save the page as is, the page is saved with the broken layout.
When I click Page Builder to edit the pages
I’ve created a new test page. When I click Page Builder to edit the page
Furthermore, when I try to upload an image, I get this error message
“The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2014/09.”
Hi Sharon,
These are very interesting issues and sorry to hear about them! We’ll get you all fixed up in no time! Firstly, which version of the plugin are you using? You can check this in the plugins directory of your WP site. Also, which theme are you using? I am thinking you are using an outdated version of the plugin and if so, updating may solve your issues. If you are using the most recent version, we’ll need to do a bit more investigation, but let me know on the version and we’ll go from there!
Best,
Billy

Thanks so much for emailing me straight away the other day. I installed the new wordpress and new plug-in. All good and I made a website in a day. A LONG DAY. But a day.
Went lo-fi only 1 or 2 plug-ins. I’m backed up, so here we go!
Awesome, great to hear!

Hey Sharon,
The theme and plugin need an update. Can you please do so when you get a chance? I don’t imagine that will fix the issues I am seeing, but I’d like everything to be up to date before further troubleshooting if possible.
Best,
Billy
There should be an Automator update and the plugin will need to be updated via the plugins area. Thanks in advance!
Best,
Billy
Hi Sharon,
It looks like this might be a hosting issue. Even with the page builder deactivated, I still can’t view any of the pages on your site. Instead, I’m seeing this…
Can you check with your host to see that WordPress has been installed properly or that there aren’t any issues on their end?
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks,
Justin
Eek - that’s what happened last time. Yep, besides the “Error: Critical file transfer error” I couldn’t make a new directory to upload the new plug-in etc. They’ll be open in an hour, let you know - thank you.
Hi Justin and Billy,
The issue was indeed related to the hosting:
The site is now visible; I can create new and edit pages and the styles are all good.
Thank you once again for your responsiveness! It’s really, really appreciated.
Yay! Awesome news, well, that it’s up and running now!
