i would like to place a nice/stylish “annimated down arrow” on the landing page, directly on the photo, below “An den Früchten werden Sie uns erkennen.”, so that the user understands that he has to scroll downwards.
Do you have a hint for me, how I can accomplish that in/with BB?
You can achieve that by using an Icon Module with a Fontawesome down arrow icon and center align it using the settings. Then, apply some animations to the down arrow and push the arrow up a little by setting the top margin with a negative value. I’ve attached some screenshots for your reference. Let us know how it goes.
Unfortunately, we don’t offer such complex animations. Not really sure what your options are there since I haven’t really had the chance to play with one before. You could try creating GIFs and place it as an image there. Try asking the guys on the BB FB Group or Slack Channel and see if they have any recommendations.
ok, that’s not necessarily what i wanted to hear … ;-(
…but ok, one last question to this point:
How can i simply place an icon on the picture on the landing page.
I didn’t find it out right now.
I so far manage myself by coping the already existing text “werden sie uns erkennen” and then change it into an icon-module.
So if want to place it a good deal lower on the page, i have to change the pixels in “advanced/above and down”. But as a result, the picture gets longer and longer. I don’t want that.
That’s not a really clean way.
There must be another possibility and i hope, you can tell me!!
That would be the only way around it. The reason why your image is getting longer and longer is because of the bottom padding you have set on that row. Try reducing the bottom padding as you see fit.
I’d suggest hitting up the FB Group as well as the Slack channel with the same question. We’ve a lot of active users there. The guys there might have an idea.
