Any options to have poster with embedded video?

Hello,
I’m pretty sure WP allows adding a poster to an embedded YouTube video, but I’ve been unable to get it working with the BB plugin (Genesis/Dynamik theme).

I tried using the BB Video module, but ‘poster’ is only available for locally hosted vids.

I tried embedding into a BB Text module, but that doesn’t seem to play videos at all – just shows the iframe embed code.

Is it possible to have a poster image display instead of my embedded YouTube thumbnail?

Hey Craig,

I would think that would be something to configure on YouTube’s side. Yea, the text module wouldn’t be the best route to go - HTML module would be better for that use case. I think it would be a cool addition to the video module though if you want to add that to our User Voice forum!
