Trying to add a simple back button for client site but text editor keeps stripping out the code.
Any way of achieving this as there does not seem to be an insert code functionality in the builder.

Hi Gary,
Would it be possible for you to share this code and a screenshot of you adding this code and a screenshot of what happens after the stripping, please.
All the best,
Danny
We can do a bit better than screen shots here you go
Hi Gary,
This isn’t an issue with our Text module, you can actually recreate this using the WordPress content editor in either Pages or Posts. If you add HTML, JS etc… to the Text editor and then switch to the Visual editor, then back again. The code will be stripped.
Therefore, if you’re planning on adding custom code, you will want to use the Text editor and not switch back and forth between the two editors.
All the best,
Danny
Ok got it thanks.
Might be a nice option to add to editor buttons though save all the messing around.
Hi Gary,
If you have a minute, feel free to suggest it on our UserVoice page…

Also, an alternative method, would be to use the HTML module instead of the Text module. Have you though about trying that instead?
Thanks,
Danny
