Hi beaver builder team!

First of all awesome product, so far my license already paid itself over and over again. :slight_smile:

I was wondering, is there a way to set the default values for certain options on the functions.php file for a child theme?

For example, let’s say on theme activation I want to enable the search button with the hamburger style button for mobile view. Is this possible?

Wow, that last link is totally perfect!

Oh and another question that just popped up. Is there a way to add a custom widget area?

It doesn’t really have to work in the customizer (bonus if it does but not really priority). Or should I just add it like in any normal theme?

Hey Alex,

You should be able to add widget areas using the same method below.

I believe the customizer automagically picks those widget areas up.
