I added this code. It fixed my full-width problem. But now, If I am trying to build a page. Whatever browser I’m using runs SUPER slow. Almost glitchy.
So it’s not the .css files. I took out the code. And yet. It’s still runs really slow. It freezes up every page of the browser when I’m running Beaver Builder. Again, I am running the Kleo theme for buddypress. I really wish I could get these two to play nice.
I, personally, set the max-width to 100% occasionally but never encountered any performance issues on the site/browser I am working on. This could be caused by a lot of things. Do you have a lot of plugins installed? I haven’t really tried the theme you are using but it could be that as well. It could also be the hosting, if this isn’t on a localhost. You could go through the plugin deactivation route, i.e., disable all plugins and test the Beaver Builder while reactivating each to determine if the issue is related to a 3rd party plugin. If you’re still having the same problem, you can leave the plugins disabled and try a default twentyX theme. Let us know how it goes.
Ben, thank you for your response. You know. I tried Beaver Builder with the X-theme with conrnerstone. And you know what…they are awesome together. I’d build some pages with cornerstone and some with Beaver. They both have their strengths. Cornerstone has some great addon features, but no access to plugins like formidable forms. Beaver just makes writing and marking up a site fast, efficient and easy. Being that Kleo was built by themeforest as well, I thought it would have similar results. I’m wondering if VC and BB on installed on the same site fight eachtother. As I didn’t have it installed on X.
But here’s the simple question. In my code would that mean the following: instead of 2880 would it be 100% like this:
