Hi I have just installed BB and The page builder tab works on the three pages I have added but does not show on my main home page so I cannot edit my main home page with Beaver builder.
Can someone help please?
Thank you I have sorted this problem
Hey Jeff,
Glad you figured out the issue! Do you mind sharing what it was that caused it though?
Ben
Hi Ben
Yes I clicked on customise, static front page and under front changed the home page then deleted the other home page in menus.
This seemed to work but I have another ticket open that maybe linked regarding remove button not working.
I am sorry I will be sure to keep check on what I do if I have any other problems and report back.
thanks Jeff
Hey Jeff,
Yes, you’ll need to set a static frontpage before BB starts working there. If you don’t set one, BB shows the Posts archive which BB doesn’t have access to.
I’ve also replied to your other thread, we can keep the discussion there.

Oh… I have this exact problem. There is a “pre-existing” home page and it doesn’t have BB page builder on it. But the “home page” I created is on it.
I prefer using the pre-existing one because it doesn’t have the url: www.mysite/home/ but simply www.mysite.com
Any suggestions on how to “force” page builder onto that page too?

Hi Regina,
In order for Beaver Builder to work on your homepage, you need to set up the Static pages option. By default WordPress will dynamically add your posts to your homepage. Beaver Builder doesn’t work on dynamic pages created by WordPress.
So you will need to first create a new page and call it something specific like Home, Homepage or Frontpage. Then go to WordPress Admin Dashboard > Settings > Reading and set up the static pages option. For the Front-page option choose the homepage you just created.

Thank you!
No problem, Regina. Happy to help!
