Beaver Builder not working with my theme

I’ve had success using BB with some other themes, but this weekend I was working on a new site & ran into trouble. I can open my page with Beaver Builder, but I can’t seem to add and rows or elements. I also tried just using a template, and that wouldn’t show up either.

The theme I’m using is a Genesis Child Theme: http://restored316designs.com/product/style-theme/

I am not trying to use BB on my main page, but on my sub pages; the About page is an example of where I’d like to use your plugin.

I did some testing and it looks like the issue is with the Genesis Connect for WooCommerce plugin. When I disable that, the pages are editable with Beaver Builder. I tried to recreate this on my site with your theme and that plugin, but everything is working fine.

I did notice that even the default WordPress editor isn’t working for pages on your site, so I don’t believe that the issue is with Beaver Builder. You can see that happening here… http://dahlhousedesigns.net/test-2/

That page should have content from the WordPress editor, but instead it contains an empty products UL tag…

That leads me to believe that something is causing WordPress to think that your pages are product archive pages instead of regular pages.

I would suggest posting in the support forums for the Genesis Connect for WooCommerce plugin to see if they can get this resolved for you. I tried to figure out what it might be but didn’t have any luck.

It looks like if you create the WC pages, the issue will go away! :slight_smile:
