Beaver Builder Theme incorrectly uses H2 for titles

HI, the Beaver Builder Theme incorrectly uses H2 for page and post titles. This hurts SEO. You can switch the generated titles under general settings->Default Page Heading (Show/CSS Selector). It used to just hide it with CSS, but with the recent update, the H2 tag isn’t generated anymore. That is terrific, but it doesn’t work for posts (or custom content types).

Suggestion: could you make it possible to have a setting in BB Theme so you can choose to have the title generated as H1, H2 of not at all? The H1 setting is needed for SEO and the “not at all” setting would be useful if you want to take care of the H1 in the pages & posts yourself. Such a setting would be nice to have for pages and posts.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll take a look at getting H1 tags used on posts in the next theme update. We can also add the same logic to posts that we added to pages for the builder.

Hi Billy, I checked it out. Post get an H1 now, but pages still use an H2…
