I’m thinking about using a custom header & footer for a project and wanted to know if you have any sample layouts and/or tips for using the no header & footer template.

Hey Bob,
Good to hear from you! Unfortunately, we don’t have any page templates that feature more of a full page built with BB, header and all. However, not a bad idea! 
Re. Tips, I would just suggest using BB like you normally would on a page. You could start with a two column row, add a photo module for a logo, menu module, etc. and then just build out from there!
