I am being driven around the bend. I am trying to access a text module on a page but something seems horribly wrong. Beaver would not allow me to access the module. The edit screen flickers constantly when I try to Access the colom. I tried by creating it a second time now i can not edit either of them. It would not delete or edit. I tried it on various browsers and a pc and a tablet without any luck.
I can clearly see that the module’s flash when you move your mouse cursor. However, this isn’t happening on my test site.
This leads me to believe that it may be related to either a plugin you have installed or custom code you may have added. Therefore, would it be possible for you to disable all active plugins except for BB and see the flashing continues.
If it does, then it isn’t related to plugins, but either custom code or the theme. If this is the case, you will want to remove all custom code and then check again.
Let me know when you have completed the above and the outcome.
I have deactivated all my plugins and edit out my css (only custom code) and it is still doing it. after deactivating the plugins it allowed me to delete one of the modules then it started to flicker again so I could not delete the second one.
The setup I am using here (plugins and themes) is being used on most of my sites that i have used beaver for and I have only encountered this problem once before. I just deleted beaver and reinstalled it and it work fine but that solution did not work this time. It is not doing it on any other pages either.
I have logged into your site again and then copied and pasted that templates content into my test sites. Doing this was my attempt to try and see if this may be caused by invalid HTML added to one of the modules.
However, when I added this to my test site, I was able to edit the module without see any flashing. Therefore, would it be possible for you to disable all active plugins and reply here when you have so I can take a closer look when they’re disabled.
I just wanted to chime in here. So I checked the page just now, and it seems the contents inside the Text Editor module were copied and pasted from an existing BB page? I noticed BB classes being used on a few divs inside the Text Editor modules, which is maybe what’s causing the issue - there might be an extra or unclosed div tag.
A trick that I use to prevent that from happening is, I first paste it into a notepad, where those kinds of format aren’t supported, then copy it again from there, and paste it as content for the page.
