I purchased BB pro a couple of weeks ago. This afternoon (17th, Monday) I was asked to launch website on which myself and customer were working. I had a couple of products with little or no data to enter before we transfer website from test to live server.
Before moving files accross I run BB update.
Once updated, I was no longer to add data to products via BB (long product description area). I could edit existing products.
As a result, we were forced to postpone launch to another day.
I’m now considering purchasing PootlePress page builder for Canvas. BB does not allow to change feel and look of WooCommerce as much as PootlePress Customiser. In BB I had to do a lot of custom CSS rules (which is fine), however Pootle is half price less and has more features, requiring less work.
Thanks for getting in touch! And sorry to hear you’re having this problem. Do you mind sharing temp admin access to the site so we can check? You can use the private reply option below.
For some reason, a blank description hides the tab for the Product Description. That’s the only place BB can edit. I was able to get through by placing a sample text over the Text Editor menu then heading over to the Page Builder. I’m also getting PHP warnings across the pages. Have you tried the plugin deactivation route? If you haven’t try disabling all plugins and test the Beaver Builder while reactivating each to determine if the issue is related to a 3rd party plugin. Let us know how it goes.
PHP warnings related to plugins which I tried to install after I reported the problem. Yesterday I had no problems (not even PHP errors). I resumed work this morning after updates BB.
I’m rebuilding website from fresh install directly on live website with restricted access.
You can close the ticket now.
