Have you tried editing it in a different browser? Sometimes there can be a browser extension or something really, really cached that makes things get snagged up.
Thanks for the response and suggestion Abby. Yeah, I tried two other browsers and different PC’s all with the same result. Strange, because it worked fine until a week ago. I am able to make other changes with Beaver Builder but can’t seem to make any changes with any HTML code. I even disabled any plug-ins including Wordfence. I also disabled Beaver Builder to try to update the code and was able to fine. But when I enable Beaver Builder back on the changes didn’t update. My hosting company is Bluehost and have two websites and it happens with both sites. So, to me it seems to be something with Beaver Builder from what I can determine. Or maybe some update with the hosting company that is throwing it off.
You need to open your browsers dev tools, and switch to “console” then run through the scenario. Dont just open the console after the fact, it needs to actually record the issue as it happens.
There will be a JS error at some point, the JS error is what is preventing the save from finishing.
I think the error would be further down, when the issue happens scroll to the bottom of that console
