Can't Edit Modules After Making 1 Edit ...

Morning!

I have been running into an error where when I edit a module and save it … then try to edit another module … I can’t get the editor to pop up. I have to totally refresh the page and go back in to make any edits.

I recorded a video so that you can see what I’m seeing. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey Mark,

Are you having this issue on all pages? Could you try creating a new one to check? It’s also possible it’s a 3rd party plugin conflict. Let’s have you go through the plugin deactivation route, i.e., disable all plugins and test the Beaver Builder while reactivating each to determine if the issue is related to a 3rd party plugin. Let us know how it goes!

Hey Ben,

Thanks for the suggestion … so, it is Gravity Forms causing the issue … Unfortunately that plugin is vital to my site. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and I’m still getting the bug. Any other suggestions?

I can deal with the issue if we can’t fix it since it only occurs on certain pages, but I’d love to figure it out. Thanks in advance for the help.

Ben!

As I was lying in bed … Pondering my quandary, I think I figured it out!! Both pages im having issues with have forms on them. To embed the forms I used the widget module instead of using a short code in the HTML module. I’m thinking that is the problem. I’ll let you know when I test it. Thanks for all your help! Sleep heals all!!

So … I fixed the issues!

The first page I created a totally new row and rebuilt it using the HTML module and the GF shortcode.

Not sure what I did on the second page. I did have two different forms on the same page (one geared towards mobile users and the other for desktop users) and I removed the mobile one which was using the widget module to display the form.

I’ll let you know if the issue pops back up, but you can now count this as resolved.

Hey Mark,

I was gonna suggest using the shortcode when I read your first reply but it seems you already are! Definitely let us know if the issue happens again so we can take a look!
