Child theme activation

Just a quick question
I have a site with a none active Child theme if I activate this will I loose the customization (this is just via the customize no template code)?

Hey Mike,

Thanks for getting in touch! Yes, you will lose those customization as the child theme is being treated as a different theme by the database. You can export your customizations though then import them to the child theme. You can find the export option on the bottom part of the theme customizer. Just install the plugin it requires. :slight_smile:
