A twofold issue: (1) I’d like to have my Content Slider images not truncate (they currently cut part of the image off like the bird in the cage image); and (2) I’d like to have the image not sit under the text in the gray box (in other words, I’d like to have the entire image show to the right of the text box rather than have part of the image visible under the text box). Hey Sark,
You’re setting the image as a background. Remove the background image, set the slide’s Content Layout to Text & Photo, and set the elements respectively. You can also adjust the elements’ properties under the Style tab. Give it a shot and see if it solves both of your issues.

In part, that worked; thanks, Ben. The problem is that most of the images are now either too big or too small. Suggestions?

Ben, earlier I forgot I made the page private and draft because I didn’t want the public to see it as I worked on it, but I made it public and published when you pointed out the problem. Since then I have not modified publication settings and am seeing the site on both my browsers. Please try again. Sorry for the trouble. I am generally ok (intermediate) with WP; it’s just that working with graphics is a bit above my pay scale.
