couple of questions please

Hello.
Thankyou, i have purchased and all looks great

I have 2 questions though please…
attachment 1 shows the icon backgrounds to be a sort of dark green, this isnt very clear for me to see, it looks like its a theme css issue, but can you advise on the best way i could set the colour to something else?

also…

is it possible to change the default margin and padding settings, currently it seems to be set to 20px, i would prefer if i could set the default to 0px as i tend to sort out most padding and margins when creating my templates…

many thanks
carl

Hey Carl,

Welcome to the BB forums!

The background color on the buttons looks to be theme related like you said. Do you mind sharing temp admin access to your site so we can check the backend and possible provide a CSS snippet to override that? You can use the private reply option below.

Re default margins, you can head to Tools > Edit Global Settings and change the default there.

Hey Carl,

We’ll need for the user you setup for us to be admin level. Can you please adjust and let us know?

Best,
Billy

Sorry… it should now be set to admin…

Thanks Carl. I see that you have Themler installed. Did you by chance use that to create the overall appearance of your site? There could be a setting in there that is affecting the toolbar. I am not familiar with Themler to where I feel comfortable going in there and messing with settings, but from I can tell, buttons are picking up that color you are seeing in your editor toolbar.

Best,
Billy

Thankyou, I will take a look and let you know where/if I find the problem setting…

I believe I can also add custom css to themler, maybe I will also look at where I can edit the colours that way

I will let you know what I find.

Many thanks
Carl

Sounds good, Carl. I believe it has to do with the Themler form button color, but was hesitant to try that due to not really knowing what it may affect for you on the frontend.

Hello.
Thanks for the pointers
I did find that colour set for a button in my template, so by simply editing the colour i was able to make the editor buttons clearer for me

I am interested to know what forum software you are using? i am looking for ideas on whats best to use for myself for client support?

Many thanks
Carl
