Create a global footer?

Hello,

Ok, so I created a footer row for the front page. I know I can save it as a global row but is there a way to put it on all of the pages automatically?

For example, I don’t want to have the client to have to add the row to new blog posts.

I am using the Grand theme.

Thanks!

Hi William,

Sorry, but there isn’t any way to add a Global Row automatically to every page. That’s really the function of your theme’s footer.

What you can do is create and save a Template with just your Footer Row (it doesn’t have to be Global). Then append that template to every page. Because you’re appending it, your footer row will always be added after the existing content on the page. It is something you will have to do manually though.

Hope that helps.

Colin

Thanks Colin!

I didn’t think there was and I like your solution. I will try it!
