The templates can be categorized. You just need to enable the Templates admin under Settings > Page Builder > Templates. You can then create categories under Templates > Categories as well as edit your templates from the same menu.
Thank you, I’ve read the article and it was very useful. Just one thing to confirm: I am on a single installation. I want to create a bunch of layouts sorted by category. All i need to do is to have another single installation from which my new layouts can be imported on the main installation. My main concern is that I want my categories/layouts to look the way they look right now for “Home Pages” layouts, that is with the icon and the title of the layout. I understand that I will have to change the built in layouts but am I limited to them? What if I want to create a 100 different layouts and then import them?
Yes, you can make your layouts look like the Home Pages section if you override the Core Templates on Agency. You just need to assign each template a Featured Image which will be used.
Templates are CPTs, so it’s just like creating a new post. Depending on who you’re hosting with, you might encounter server problems when exporting/importing a lot of data.
You could try doing separate categories for your Home Pages, so it doesn’t clutter up your list, e.g., Home Page 1, Home Page 2, and so on. Does that answer your question?
