I wonder In your opinion what is best: Create the site on localhost, then you are all approved by the client up via FTP or create the online site and the client go online following the changes?
I would like to create local host to then climb online but do not know quite what I should do to get a website done in localhost in the online environment …
Already is create online and accessing web standard settings and putting NOT ALLOW THE INDEX IN SEARCH ENGINES, google crawls the pages …
This really is personal preference, but we see both ways often. If you need assistance going the local host route, I would recommend doing some good old google research. Anyway, I’ll leave this open in the event other users would like to comment on their preferences. Personally, we work on a dev server and move live from there.
I use WAMP on a Windows box, works great for me.
When I have a site ready to show a client I migrate it to a temporary domain, or a sub-directory in a domain.
