Custom post type showing on one template, but using SEO from the template page

I’m not sure if this is a BB issue or a Web 2.0 Directory issue. I have a site where I’ve got custom post types as created by Web 2.0 Directory displaying via a shortcode on a single BB page which serves as a template but is actually just a regular BB page.

My issue is that the Yoast SEO meta tags that displays are those set on the BB page itself; it’s not drawing that information from each custom post. The canonical link does show the CPT URL, but everything else shows the generic BB page SEO.

Thoughts?

Have you tried checking if there’s a setting within either BB or the directory plugin that allows you to specify which meta tags to prioritize?
