I need to use the same simple product in multiple different variable products with the goal of being able to offer the simple product(s) in one of two drop-down options for a custom assembly using WPClever’s premium Product Bundle Plug-In (5.4.2.). The problem is the simple product is already offered in one variable product and I can’t use the same SKU twice. I am using wordpress (5.6.2 )and WooCommerce. Note: The new variable products do not have to be public or seen to the viewer; I simply need to create a new variable product with already used SKUs to meet the needs of a new smart bundle.
