Embedded video missing the control buttons

Hi,

I have added a video on my server and used iframe to bring it on my website. The problem is that i do not have Play button etc and the video starts automatically when the used comes to the site. Can you pls help me to get the video user controls on the page.

Hey JL,

Is there a reason you’re using iframe as opposed using our Video module to output your video? Our video module has an option to disable autoplay. Check the screenshot below for reference.

Hi, i would love to use it, but unfortunately the files are on the server, not in the wordpress as they are so heavy. can i point the source to the server somehow?

I tried searching online for a solution to this but it seems there’s no way around it. The problem is not with the iframe code but with the source of the video. You can check the link below for more info.

Can you not upload the video via FTP to the media folder? I think WP still detects that as its own media and you can select it using the Video module?
