Hi Folks,

Is there a way to export a BB template so that I can use it in another website?

Hi Mark,

To export your templates, all you need to do is use the WordPress import/export tools from the WordPress Admin Dashboard. Similar to how you export your pages, posts etc…

When you install the Import tools, you should see a Templates checkbox, checking this will allow you to export your templates to a .xml file. Then all you need to do is use the import tools on the other site and import them like you would posts.

Hi Danny. Thanks for that. I chose “templates” on the export. When I import the xml file, I get “Failed to import “Home Page”: Invalid post type fl-builder-template”. Any thoughts?

Hey Mark,

Do you have the BB plugin installed on the new site you’re importing the templates into? You’ll have to install it first so the Templates custom post type gets generated. :slight_smile:
