I’ve installed the Facebook pixel site wide by pasting the standard code in to the ‘head code’ area in the Beaver Builder theme. I now need to add a standard event snippet to that code on just a few selected pages. How would I go about this? There doesn’t seem to be a way to add the snippet on the selected pages only.
If you only need some code to work on specific pages, have you tried using the HTML module? Insert the code into the HTML module on the pages you’d want it to run on. Let us know how it goes and I hope this helps.
I need the facebook pixel base code on every page - site wide, hence installing it in the ‘head code’ area in the BB theme. However, I need to add the standard event code snippet fbq(‘track’, ‘Lead’); to the base code a small number of individual pages.
Have you tried using the HTML module I suggested earlier? Just insert the event code into the HTML module and apply it on your selected pages. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Do you think you can share temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look? Also, please provide the event code snippet and the pages you wish to apply it. You can post the details here using the private reply option below.
I think you’ve misunderstand how the “Facebook Pixel” works, I’ve just read through the guides from the links below and it seems that you’ll just need to implement the code within the <head> section of your Website.
For your conversion tracking code fbq(‘track’, ‘Lead’);, that can only be added within the FB pixel code shown on the screenshot below. Hope this helps.
Is there an answer on this yet? You do put the standard Facebook Pixel code into the head code for every page. BUT, you only put specific snippets to track things like Leads fbq(‘track’, ‘Lead’); in the head code on the specific pages you consider to be Lead pages, not across the whole site. So, how you insert those specific event code snippets into the head code on just a few pages?
I believe you’re using the BB theme? Sorry to say, but we don’t have a setting for that. You could try using the plugin below though. It allows you to add stuff to the head section per page. https://wordpress.org/plugins/per-page-add-to/
