Thank you.

Hey O’Neil,

You can use our Posts module under Advanced module to display a list of your posts. You’ll have more control if you do it this way as opposed to setting a posts page under Settings > Reading.

But what about the featured image size. On a normal theme, if your featured size is 500x300. And you upload an image that was 600x700. The theme would auto set the featured size to 500x300.

Is this possible?

Hey O’Neil,

If you use the method I stated above, you can set the image sizes that are being generated by WordPress. These sizes are dependent on the aspect ratio of your images though so it would be best if your images have the same aspect ratio or same dimensions, if at all possible.

Ben

Where do i set these settings?

Hey O’Neil,

If you’re using the Posts module, it should be a setting under Featured Image. Check screenshot for reference.

So it will crop it to that size? Also, I cant do custom sizes?

Thanks

Hey O’Neil,

Actually, I think I can see what you’re trying to do now. If you want all of your featured images to be of the same size, I’d suggest using images with the same dimensions, like what we did on that layout template.

Ben

Ok. Thx.
