See http://fix333.com: in IE 11 and Chrome the page looks ok but in FFox there is a vertical scrollbar that should not be present. It looks like there is a little bit of margin below the footer, but I can’t seem to get rid of it.
Hi Doug,
Before I view a site posted in this or any forum, I ALWAYS run it through Sucuri’s SiteCheck first.
Unfortunately, the site you posted has some issues; this may be what is causing the problem.

Thanks for the tip; I’ll run a scan periodically.
I found that the .htaccess file was infected. I’m not sure how this happened but maybe from one of the plugins I’ve been playing with. Anyway it’s clean now.
I believe this issue may be connected to the ‘Phantom’ columns bug that I reported here.
There are three rows with no content that I cannot delete, and in the html there is a <p></p> that results in a gap between the bottom of the content and the top of the header. I’m not sure what Ben meant about setting the default margin to 20px and I cannot delete these rows. Please see this screen captureand this video.
Notice that to get the ‘phantom’ rows to show, you need to select a text editor (or other content) all the way to the right side of the content menu and then hold the mouse in that position for a moment before dragging.
I created a new page (with no ‘phantom’ rows and found that the gap remains. It’s definitely caused by the <p></p> at the end of the fl-post-content itemprop=“text” div (I deleted it in FFox’s inspector and the gap went away). So I guess the question is where is the gap coming from?
Hey Doug,
Just letting you know that we are looking into this and will get back to you shortly.
Thanks!
Kc
Hey Doug,
I can no longer see the phantom columns on that page. I think the extra tag is caused by an unclosed p
tag somewhere on your site. Do you mind sharing temp admin access so we can take a look?

Hey Doug,
Sorry, I was checking for rows, not columns. Have you tried what I suggested on the thread below? It should allow you to delete those columns.

Re the rogue p tags, could you try the plugin deactivation route, i.e., disable all plugins and test the Beaver Builder while reactivating each to determine if the issue is related to a 3rd party plugin. If it’s not with the plugins, try using a different theme and see if that does it.
Ben
Sorry, I tried setting the default row margin back when you suggested it and that didn’t work. However I just found that setting the default modules margins does work: I was able to delete the ‘phantom’ columns.
Right again about the plugins: I found that “Google Analytics Master” was the cause of the <p></p> problem.
Thanks again, Ben, you guys are awesome!
No worries at all, and glad I could help! Enjoy BB!
Ben
