Fixed background div and fixed header

Hello,

Thanks for this high quality builder page plugin !

First a probleme and then a suggestion.

And here we go for the little problem :

I created a theme with the underscores starter theme.
I have made my header fixed (inside of it, my logo, my menu and a info bar).

My main page content is inside a main element wich his margin top is like my header height (144px), so everything is ok.

When I create a page with Bbuilder, i first add a full width column with a fixed background and a H1 element.

And the problem is that the top of my background is hidden by my header like it does not care about my main element top limit.

I checked my main elemen with firebug and i can see that it is ok, not hidden.

Also, if i choose a classic background, the scrolling with the page one, everything is ok and the top background does not go beyond my main top limit.

I see that this colum element background is a “fl-row-bg-photo” class. I tried to manipulate it but no success.

I am no developper, so maybe there is a little trick i didn’t see. I read some stuff on the web but…

Can you help me gentlmen ?

At last, my suggestion :

In the future, well we are talking about 10 - 15 minutes :-p don’t we, can you add a photo border style design options ?

Thanks Gentlemen,

Adelino.

Hi Adelino,

Thank you for choosing the Beaver Builder plugin and thank you for the compliment. We’ll take care of your problem first. This sounds like a CSS issue or an issue than can be fixed by the same. Would you mind sending in your site URL as well as your login credentials? You can do so via a private reply so the others can’t see them.

Ben

Wall, it’s a local website i am creating, Teamviewer access + phone ? I can call you (France)

So ?

Cause i said France ^^ :stuck_out_tongue: i like burgers

Hi Adelino,

This is a tough one as you are working locally. Is there any way you could push a live version so we can test? I’m afraid to say there won’t be much we can do to assist without having a live version to look at if that makes sense.

Best,
Billy

Thanks for your reply,

Well, i will try to do it now in a different folder that my actual online site. I also think it’s a css issue.

I told you as soon as it will be online, more or less 30 minutes.

Hi Adelino,

Would you mind giving us temporary access to the database as well as the FTP? The page contents are stored in the DB so we can start by checking there. Also, could you send us a screenshot of how the site looks on your local machine? That way we have a basis of how your site looks when working correctly.

Hi Adelino,

If you can upload the screenshot to imgur and send me the link that would be best.

Hi Adelino,

I have a few theories on how this came about but like Billy said, we really can’t troubleshoot further unless the live site is working. If you could continue working on getting the live site to work that would be awesome.

Ben

Can you tell more me about those theories please ?

My first concern is to live my live site ok.

There are two ftp folder and 2 sql databases.

First two for the living sote and laste one fot the new testing site we are talking about.

I can give you all access you want.

I just need you to leave the ftp and database of the live site ok.

Still, you can do whatever you want to the test ftp folder and test database
