Fixed Mobile Nav Toggle

Hi,

Like the fixed header for the header layout, is there a fixed header for the nav mobile toggle?

When this setting below is enabled the logo shows on the left and the full header menu shows on the right while scrolling down the page.

Fixed Header
Show a fixed header as the page is scrolled.

Thanks,
Jason

Hey Jason,

I think I understand your question - basically instead of the full menu, you would like to see the mobile menu option? If so, unfortunately that isn’t possible, but is if you are using the menu module and a global row. That would require using our headerless/footerless page template which then allows you to build out the page fully with Beaver Builder. You could even make the header and footer rows global so that you could apply them page to page. Hope that helps!

Best,
Billy

Billy,

Thanks for you response.

Actually right now with the setting above, while on the desktop the fixed header scrolls with the page. When I go to a mobile device, the mobile toggle menu (3 lines) show up as expected, but if I scroll down the page the mobile toggle menu (3 lines) is not fixed and scrolling with the page. There should be setting to allow a fixed mobile toggle menu as the page is scrolled.

I tried your suggestion but that mobile toggle menu does not scroll with the page on a mobile device. Also only the mobile toggle menu shows on the right but the logo does not show on the left.

This really should be added so that all views desktop/mobile/tablet have a similar look and feel.

BTW, at first I did start out excited to use the menu module with no header/footer but ended up switching back because there is just not enough functionality built-in the menu module to achieve what I needed. Examples: 1. This current post. Scrolling on desktop/mobile/tablet is needed 2. Ability to add Logo (Regular/Retina) with fixed scrolling

Thanks,
Jason

Thanks for the feedback, Jason! You are correct in that the fixed header does not work on mobile and that is by design as the screen space and real estate is limited. Sorry about that. I don’t think we’ll really change that due to those reasons, but you never know! I’ve noted your feedback though, thanks again.

Best,
Billy

Billy,

That’s no a problem.

Take note. I’m fully invested with BB. When I give this feedback, it’s because I’ve seen this functionality on many websites.

Take a look from a mobile device.
