Yes, I suppose you could use the new template as such. It would need to be based on BB modules i.e. photo module for the logo, menu widget for the navigation. You could also whip up custom CSS to accomplish this in our theme if you feel comfortable doing so.
So far so good. I liked CSS Hero a lot, but I’ve run into too many activation issues, causing it to be suddenly unavailable on Live website with the client not understanding why I couldn’t simply make it appear again. It just kept eating more and more of my licenses.
Then no feedback on my help requests.
They’re the opposite of you guys
Sadly, neither are multilanguage, but it’s simple enough I suppose…
I work closely with the CSS Hero team as the Beaver Builder team and I’m surprised to hear about your disappointment with CSS Hero. The licensing system they use can get a bit confused sometimes, but there should be no reason for you using up licenses. I’m going to highlight your frustration with them because I know the CSS Hero team will treat it seriously.
On a positive note and getting back to Billy’s comment - The Beaver Builder theme and Page Builder plugin are now 100% compatible with CSS Hero. In other words, CSS Hero now automatically recognizes all of the Beaver Builder elements, even Custom CSS entries. It’s actually really cool.
I’ll email you to follow up about my problems Colin.
I like CSS Hero, and had been promoting them around all I could, in the communities I manage and/or visit. But I hate being ignored at the service counter, repeatedly, for days. If I ignore my clients, especially in times of their need, I’m not surprised when they go…
I didn’t mean to turn this into a CSS Hero bashing thread though. Feel free to delete this if you feel it inappropriate. I don,t want to sound like some grumpy whiny type. I’m really very laid back, stupidly patient and hugely tolerant, crazily empathic and always looking for a win-win. Up here, we call that being Canadian ;).
So maybe my clients and I are the only one who’ve had issues with their flaky licensing and weird plugin hiccups…
Meanwhile, they helped me find a superb alternative, and every theme out there, as well as future ones, already work with MicroThemer. And what really matters in the end is: that my clients love BB and MT, so they are happy again, and so I can sleep better
By the way, after your announcement, I tested CSS Hero on some of my setups and I don’t see where it has changed in regards to BB? When I try it, it still says “Not Supported” and wants me to use their Rocket Mode, which usually forces me to reload the page a few times, back up and reload again to get back to my site.
Is it supposed to automatically connect to their site and pick up that it now knows BB?
And for the life of me, I cannot find your email or a contact form to reach you from your website. I’ll just post you what I was going to email you in a private reply here, right after this post.
Hello, first thing first I wanted to say how Beaver Builder is a nice tool for non programmers like me. As I saw this threat I bought Microthemer to further customise the themes like fonts etc. I have tested it on some themes and it worked very nicely. But I can’t seem to see how to make BB and Microthemer to work. Can someone tell me of a system or workflow to make those two workout. Thanks
Thanks for your answer Nomad, but when I have finished in beaver and publish the page, I then go into edit page at the top to get into the wordpress admin of the page where I can see the Microthemer button and press on it to access the page. I am presented with only a bare hello page. I am sure that there must be some error into my workflow?
