Forum styling a BuddyBoss theme

I am interested in changing the header layout of the bbPress forums & topics in the theme that I am currently using (BuddyBoss Social Learner).

Case: I would like to change the header area to a light blue style, header should be in white text. I would also like to include a relevant image in the header area for the specific forum. Is it possible to follow the suggestions below and use BeaverBuilder to modify the header area or do I need to manually modify HTML / CSS to include the modifications?

The BuddyBoss team suggested the following:

Hi @mln83, First of all its depends what you want to customize if you have minor customizations so you can do that with CSS and if you have high level of customization so you will need to customize forum templates. For the template changes, copy the bbpress folder from boss theme and paste it to your child theme to edit it.

Hey Michael,

Those areas you want to change are all controlled by your theme. What they’re saying is correct but you’ll need a bit of coding(PHP/HTML/CSS) experience to do it.
